Each of LiveWired's multi-faceted arts and community enrichment programs has been conceived and designed to confront many of the problems faced today by artists and arts professionals, including lack of sufficient resources, representation, support and visibility—issues that impact the cultural fabric of their daily lives and the neighborhoods where they live and work.
As old business models give way to ever-evolving high-tech tools of commerce and communication, a profound need has emerged for professionals who can help today’s unsung heroes—in music, film, dance, design, arts education and arts-related businesses—navigate the paradigm shift, and in turn provide a lasting value for their communities. LiveWired is committed to realizing a future where artists will be able to control the rights to their own work, foster a deeper and more meaningful creative exchange with their intended audiences, and share more equitably in the fruits of a rejuvenated and actively engaged community, both online and in the real world.

Branding & Identity
In less than two years, LiveWired has opened lines of communication with numerous emerging, established and elder artists in various disciplines, and through LiveWired Music has forged partnerships with a growing circle of luminaries and legends in jazz, funk, fusion, soul, ethnic and avant garde music. As always, the primary goal in building these relationships is artist empowerment; all artists control the rights to their work, and revenues from the sale of manufactured and digital products are split equitably between each artist and the label. Some of our amazing artists are: Bernie Worrell's SociaLybrium, Melvin Gibbs' Elevated Entity, Burnt Sugar the Arkestra Chamber, On Ka'a Davis with his Famous Original Djuke Music Players and M. Nahadr.

Melvin Gibbs' Elevated Entity: New York Times Playlist Review
By Nate Chinen
The myriad sounds on “Ancients Speak” (LiveWired Music), a boisterous new album by the bassist and programmer Melvin Gibbs, uniformly attest to an African continuum.
Screenwriter David Mills Weighs In On SociaLybrium
Nothing is more of an automatic purchase for me than Bernie Worrell music. He is simply one of the most gifted dudes ever to lay fingers on a synthesizer, clavinet, Hammond B3, electric piano or baby grand. I’ll buy any track he ever played on.
Burnt Sugar Reviewed In All About Jazz
By Glen Astarita
With structured song forms and hefty doses of improvisation amid translucent harmonic evolvements, [Burnt Sugar] captures some of bandleader Sun Ra's off-kilter large digressions and spacey breakouts.
